Victoria's Dogs


So, I've been working on this painting for much too long. I forget that paintings of more than one animal take longer than if I just did one painting of each animal. There's composition to consider, as well as how the colors relate to one another.


This is as good as it's going to get. Thanks to iocolor.com for the lovely picture.


It doesn't fit on my lettersized scanner.

I have always felt that more than 2 faces in a portrait would be impossible to do. You proved me wrong. Despite all the difficulties and delays with this painting, you rendered it beautifully. Great job! The way you arranged these four doggie faces is very fetching. Their noses look wet and their eyes are all sparkly.
